Role Summary:

This position will be responsible for the Indirect Sourcing and Procurement responsibilities of purchase volume at the GE Power Service Centre In Rugby, UK.

Key Activities:

* Lead a team direct and indirectly (through influence) to ensure the global goals of the business are met.

* Collaborates with Global Commodity Leaders to develop negotiation strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives.

* Partners with the business leaders to ensure fulfillment, quality, and regulatory requirements are achieved.

* Create and/or enforce business policies to meet business targets and customer needs.

* Collaborate with Finance leadership to validate the impact of projects and contract negotiations to the general ledger.

* Determine the appropriate savings projects and drive throughout the organization.

* Proactively monitors risks, own escalations, mitigation and initiatives necessary for corrective actions

* Monitor supplier performance and communicate issues back to commodity team for resolution.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Understanding of UtilitiesExperience working in SAPConfident communicating with multiple stakeholders
