C# Developer

For one of the biggest multinationals worldwide we are looking for a C# developer. Location: The Hague. The duration of the contract is 1,5 year with option to extend. Developer SCRUM development team.

The candidate for this position will be working with Agile (SCRUM) software development process and executes Project Backlog Items related to:

1) enabling and maintaining uncertainty modelling and optimization workflows and UI in the company proprietary add-ons

2) adding new computational algorithms and maintaining the companies proprietary optimization and uncertainty modelling libraries

3) other simulation and modelling subjects

Requirements:

1. The candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in technical or scientific software development, 2. a university or a hogeschool degree in computational science, physics, mathematics or equivalent, 3. practical experience in object-oriented programming, 4. skill in the use of C# (including Linq, Lambda, WPF, async/await), 5. some familiarity with C++, 6. experience in agile software development.

The ideal candidate will also be: 1. able to communicate clearly in English, 2. able to work effectively in a multi-cultural geographically distributed team, 3. following the recent software technology developments, 4. result oriented and coachable.
