Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect for one of the UKs leading managed service providers. They specialise in mobile working platforms and cloud-based infrastructures for their existing client base in both the public and private sector. They successfully deliver effective IT provision and consultancy both from their head offices virtually and onsite through its engineer network.
As an Solutions Architect, you will be joining a team of skilled solution specialists, designing and coordinating cutting edge solutions depending on the customers needs. Your role will also include technical pre sales and coordinating with the sales and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Designing the installation of networks and solutions onsite, providing a high level of service to customers
- Ability to analyse and understand customer requirements and centre solutions around these
- Forward thinking and up to date knowledge of the newest technologies
- Provide the in-house Sales team with your expertise and knowledge
- Work closely with the engineers to ensure the correct implementation of your designs
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- Confident in documentation and presentation skills
- Able to work as part of a small team and prioritise
- Ability to work in busy environment and use own initiative
- Able to understand the commercial need of the business combined with our customers needsKnowledge needed:
- VMWare, Hyper-V
- Extensive knowledge of FC/iSCSI storage solutions
- Knowledge and implantation of a hyperconverged platform
- Understanding of end user compute including Citrix or VMWare Horizon
- Extensive knowledge of Azure or AWS
