We're committed to speeding up the transition to cleaner electric transport, improving air quality and over time, driving down bills.  Purpose Embarking on a major IT Transformation project to drive change throughout our businesses, we're looking for a Business Consultant to contribute to the development and realisation of our IT strategy. Through great relationship skills, you will make strategic design decisions that satisfy both local and global requirements which ensure solutions meet our business customer needs. Responsibilities Developing key elements of our business IT Strategy and ensure our projects are consistently adhering with our global model, you'll provide clear design direction to our teams and improve team knowledge through mentoring, workshops and other skill transfer methods.  Being responsible for early engagement on a range of large scale projects and programmes, you'll assist with early scope definition, analyse feasibility, business case development and govern IT strategy implementation through formal approval processes.  Skills & Requirements Results driven and self-motivated, you'll have significant experience in successful delivery of customer focussed enterprise wide solutions and a working knowledge of industry processes, including a strong understanding of technology and architecture.  Communicating with business and IT at senior management level, you'll be degree qualified in Computer Science or possess relevant IT experience and ideally have knowledge of Corporate HR, H&S, Finance or Procurement applications.  Ability to travel to other company locations may be required. What We Offer This is a permanent contract. Salary for this role will be from £45,840 to £57,300 per annum. Other benefits for this role include a performance related bonus up to 10% and single cover health care.
