Front End Developer + Designer - South Manchester - £40,000 Skills And QualificationsExcellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, mobile-firstBe well versed in client-side scripting andjQuery and at least one front end framework such as: ReactAngularjsGood understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAXExperience with REST APIs, both from the client side and server side.Experienced with OOP principles and design patterns.Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.Experience using Git and build processes, e.g. Webpack, Gulp, etc.Experience with PWAs for Desktop and Mobile will boost an application ResponsibilitiesDecouple our existing front-ends from their back-ends.Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.Ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.Ensure security protocols and PCI compliance are adhered to.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.Ad-hoc design work.
