JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Public Cloud - Project Analyst Location: London, Canary Wharf Job Purpose and primary objectives: To support the bank’s move to a multi-cloud provider environment, we require a project analyst to assist in optimising the Bank’s cloud program. Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): ? Work with the Workstream lead to prepare working group packs ? Complete minutes for the workstream working group ? Provide update material to relevant cloud forums which could include Public Cloud Acceleration, Cloud Centre for Excellence, Public Cloud Council ? Chair meetings regarding self-identified issues and track progress issue pre-meeting material and post meeting minutes ? Chair meetings regarding requirements tracking including tracking progress, issuing pre meeting material and post meeting minutes ? Create and maintain dashboards on critical pieces of work within the Security Risk and Compliance space. ? Create material to be provided to regulators for periodic and ad hoc regulatory requests ? Work with the embedded risk function to ensure all risks, issues, audit points, regulation points self-identified issues and findings are documented and updated in the correct systems. ? Maintain project management material including clarity, status, risks, issues, changes, dependencies, milestones, plan on a page and Microsoft project ? Support the workstream lead by being a delegate for performing people management activities including creation of position ids and management of these through to the resource being onboarded ? Support the workstream lead with managing third party contracts from inception, ongoing management and closure. Key Skills/Knowledge: ? Strong command of English, both verbal and written ? Experience as a project analyst ? Experience in global banking, investment banking preferred ? Experience in global banking security, risk and compliance ? Strong understanding of all aspects of project and programme management ? Understanding of product management and the product lifecycle ? Understanding of the software development life cycle, in particular agile methodologies. ? Ability to identify outcomes and deliverables which are required to break down silos and make a step change improvement in delivery efficiency and effectiveness ? Ability to articulate clearly the benefits, limitations and risks with technical options for a public cloud environment from a security, risk and compliance viewpoint ? Experience in owning product backlogs, sprint planning, prioritisation and release management ? Advanced analytical and problem solving experience and an ability to independently identify issues and grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions ? High degree of accuracy and attention to detail ? Strong planning and highly organised with ability to prioritise key deliverables across several workstreams ? Excellent communication and documentation / presentation skills. ? Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing. ? Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders through strong dialogue, facilitation and persuasiveness. ? Able to act as a point of escalation for team members. ? Advanced knowledge of methods and tooling for the Project Management Office function ? Advanced knowledge of MS Office products. ? Build trusted and influential relationships with senior business stakeholders. ? Strong data analysis experience ? Strong communication skills at both junior and senior level and with non-IT staff. ? Holds self and others accountable for achieving results that embody the principles of diversity and DB’s values. ? Degree from an accredited college or university with an IT-related concentration (or equivalent diploma/work experience). ? Prince2, PMI / PMP certification Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Manager are preferable but not mandatory ? Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Certifications are preferable but not mandatory Experience required: 8 to 12 Years Duration of the Assignment: 6 months rolling
