Requirement Description

*Monitoring the performance of assigned systems and the definition and implementation of adequate measures ensuring an optimal performance and high availability of the DB services

*Defining DB backup strategies and ensuring a valid and maintained recovery plan is in place

*Troubleshoots issues promptly

*Answer customers' needs by configuration of the system or new solution design

*Ensures a running system on all aspects (technical, functional, technical processes, operational procedures, etc.)

*Manages system security, system patching and upgrades Administers and monitors SharePoint farms for any glitches or problems

*Troubleshoots issues promptly

Essential Skills

*Extensive experience on database management

*SQL server implementation of Availability Groups, replicas, VLAN clusters

*Extensive experience in administration and migration of SharePoint farms (2010, 2013, 2016)

*Experience in configuring SharePoint farms/servers, service applications and settings

*Windows Operating Systems hands-on (2008R2, 2012R2, 2016)

*SQL troubleshooting, restoring and disaster recovery

*SQL Performance monitoring

*Is able to think and work quickly to remedy system shutdowns or serious software problems.

*Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skill

*Fluent English in both spoken and written

Desirable Skills

*A graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or an equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by a related engineering Institute or professional body

*Extensive knowledge of secure information systems

*Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
