Microsoft 365 Expert - Inside IR35

6 Months+ contract

£400-600 per day

My client are currently looking for a Microsoft 365 SME to be based in Gateshead on an initial 6 month contract with possible extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

*Recommend and define the Security controls for M365 to the Information Security Manager / IT Service Manager to develop the Information Security Strategy

*Provide and migrate to support teams daily monitoring of controls implemented with suitable alerting and escalation procedures

*Build excellent relationships with users across the business, ensuring any security implementation has minimum impact on the user

*Assist with monitoring compliance to ISO27001/GDPR compliance, implementing/developing new procedures as appropriate. Inc strong security awareness of cloud services and web-based services within M365

*Assist with production of monthly security metric reports

*Able to balance technical and procedural controls to address business risks in most effective way

*Analyse impact of the use of M365 and its effects on information security and data protection issues arising from business, technology and user changes and produce proposals for improvement

*Provide effective communications of proposals and final impacts of recommendations

*Assist with the Development of standards, procedures and KPI's

*Review of key security arrangements for archive/backup/restore, cloud and email security, virus protection and similar arrangements

*Identify M365 opportunities and threats in information security and research potential solutions.

*Assist ISM and Digital Managers in managing relationships with internal auditors if required.
