Release & Deployment ManagerRelease & Deployment Manager urgently required to work on an initial 12 month contract for our client in Corsham.You will be responsible for managing the design of deployment plans as well as for defining the Command and Control function. You will also be responsible for defining contingency plans and identifying and preparing transitional processes that will occur during the deployment period.Main Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinate and facilitate the deployment of tested and evaluated NSoIT(D) developed releases from the production environment to the Operations, be ensuring that the sequence of events during a release process are run properlyWrite, update and support the development of Deployment policies and procedures and review implementationManage all aspects of the end-to-end implementation of NSoIT(D) processes and proceduresPlan the deployment in conjunction with change and knowledge management and service asset and configuration managementCoordinate release documentation and communications for all NSoIT(D) capability releasesThe ideal candidate should demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in release engineering. Ability to rapidly assess the risks and impacts associated with a change in plans along with an understanding of the tools that are used to automate deployments is essential.
