Java Developer (SC)

My client urgently requires a Java Developer to join an agile team building enterprise-scale identity, access management and security solutions.

Essential:

*Excellent Java and JavaScript developer

*Web application development experience on Tomcat

*Full stack programming including UI components, application logic and database

*Comfortable with XML, SQL Database, RESTful and SOAP Web Services

Desirable (at least some of the following):

*Frameworks such as Spring, JSF

*PostgreSQL or Oracle database

* NetIQ Identity Manager / Oracle Identity Manager / Forgerock

*GDS (GOV.UK Design System) toolkit

*Continuous Integration, e.g. Gitlab CI, Maven, Jenkins

*Testing frameworks, JUnit, Mockito

*BDD, test-driven methods, Selenium, Cucumber, Serenity, Appium

*Experience of working with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and VMware vSphere virtual infrastructure

*Experience of working with Cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure

*Agile development methods - Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, etc.

*Agile tools, user stories, Jira, Confluence

*Code reviews, peer reviews, quality documentation
