Senior Power BI Consultant - Midlands - £80K If you're an experienced BI Developer with an analytical approach, then this is the next step for you! My client are in high demand and therefor are growing their team of consultants. At the moment they are in need of a Power BI Consultant with a passion for data and technology. My client are taking on multiple large scale projects, working for well-known names, using cutting edge technology to outsource competitors. Working as a Senior Power BI Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and agile environment, dealing with various industries and IT specialists such as Data Scientists, Analysts and Senior Architects. You will also be provided with continuous opportunities to upskills and gain free MS Certification on the latest technology including Ms Azure and Databricks. This is a permanent role paying an annual salary up to £80,000. Some of the benefits include/are not limited to 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), Power BI certifications, Pension, Private Medical, Expenses when going to client site and a 10% bonus. You must My client try to priorities consultants so that you will work on sites in your area, please note this cannot always be the case. This is a home based role meaning all expenses are covered when you are required to travel. Some work will be from home, depending on project stage and requirements, there may be more opportunities for home working. Key Skills/ExperienceAnalytical skills in Microsoft Power BIDemonstrable capability in building effective data models and data visualisations for use by business audiences i.e. strategic leaders, operational managers and customersExperience of working within a delivery team environment to develop analytical insightsAzure BI tools i.e. Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks etc.Proven verbal and written communication skillsProven organisation and on time delivery of own workload Desirable SkillsExtracting or Querying data from Data WarehousesSQL, PSQL, R, PythonStatistical techniquesPredictive analytics (techniques and solutions such as Azure Machine Learning) Interviews are taking place and floods of applications are coming through.
