Our Central Government Client are looking for 3 Policing Advisers;1x Deputy Policing Adviser (Jordan)1x Senior Policing Adviser (Jordan)1x Senior Policing Adviser (Saudi Arabia)

The Deputy Policing Adviser will support the Senior Policing Adviser through provision of resilience across multiple activities and relationships and provides significant support to project delivery - strategic engagement, leadership development, training development and operational pilot programme activity. Working directly with the in-country Senior Policing Advisor, the post-holder will possess (or previously possessed) appropriate senior rank and experience - a Superintendent or Chief Superintendent with significant Command and Operational experience.

The in-country Senior Policing Advisers will work directly with sectors providing strategic direction, authoritative advice and managing multiple workstreams and developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships. The various workstreams include strategic engagement, leadership development, training development and operational pilot programme activity.

Duties include:Provide strategic and tactical policing advice in support of the Authority's prioritiesSupport the programme through country specific policing capability development; develop and maintain strategic relationships with client sectors and other interested parties; support the in-country project team with strategic policing advice; support other providers with strategic policing advice Provide in-country policing advice in respect of UK and international good practice for current and emerging strategy, doctrine and working practices on police and security related mattersManage a core team/SME team to deliver activity emerging from the engagement that is flexible and responsive to local needs and delivered collaboratively and sensitively - protecting and enhancing long-term strategic relationshipsRegular reporting through the submission of dashboards and attendance at regular meetings on progress, risks and issues, delivery against plan(s)Act as a single point of contact in-country with access to relevant support, oversight and quality assurance from the Strategic International Policing Adviser covering; Police related programme activity and deliveryPromulgation of UK and international good practiceStandardisation and read-across of approaches across programmesAccess to "reach-back" - identifying and introducing relevant subject matter experts and partner forces/agencies to support strategic policing advisors on specific specialist policing initiatives
