Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon and the surrounding areas the Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of innovative Power Electronics technology for the automotive, RF, Digital and Space sectors.

Working within a team, you will be responsible for tasks including the full design lifecycle of SMPS's, IGBT's MOSFETs, SiC and GaN. Other responsibilities will also include assessing power conversion topologies, writing technical reports and interaction with other engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have a demonstrable background in Power Electronics, Motor Control and Inverter design.

Other desirable skills include: Practical exposure to IGBT design, SMPS design and design of feedback/gate drive circuits
