Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a leading Managed Services Provider and Microsoft Partner, based in the North West and within close commute of Manchester city centre.

Ideal Candidate
You will be a security focused Managed Services Engineer working in the Manchester Office on a flexible 4on 4off shift basis between 6am - 5pm and 12pm - 11pm. You will hold at least 2 years commercial experience providing infrastructure and network support covering over 350 international clients, including relevant ITIL, Microsoft or CCNA certification.
The Role
You will be working on early day and late shifts (no overnight) with the primary focus to improve and maintain the performance, stability and security of my clients IT systems. This includes monitoring and management of client backups, routers and firewalls, servers and device endpoints to ensure issues are handled proactively with minimal impact.
Key skills:
· You will have at least 2 years experience in supporting and managing Microsoft networks and associated technologies
· You will have a hands on problem solving approach, in which to troubleshoot effectively within strict SLA timeframes
· Ability to work flexibly on a 4on 4off shift basis (6am - 5pm and 12pm - 11pm)
· You will have solid technical knowledge of some of the below:
o Networking and Firewalls - Cisco, Dell, Fortinet
o Microsoft Servers 2008 - 2016
o Linux Servers - Administering and troubleshooting
o Cloud platforms - O365, Azure, AWS, Mimecast
o RMM and Professional Monitoring toolsets
o Backup solutions - Backup Exec, VEEAM, Ahsay, DPM
· You will have a general understanding of ITIL framework and processes
· You will have a basic understanding of network topology
· You will have a technical ability in Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper V)
