Applications Architect - Law enforcement - London - 8 months+

A Law enforcement organisation is undergoing a significant and complex transformation, whilst at the same time delivering a wide range of change initiatives, many of which relate to external commitments.

An Applications Architect is needed within the Enterprise Design Authority (Technical) to actively develop technical designs and approaches in support of a number of key programmes of activity and delivery over the next 8 months

Qualifications:

*Relevant IT, Systems Engineering or STEM qualification or equivalent related qualifications or experience.

Skills/Expertise:

*Tangible experience of leading complex, large scale application rationalisation, consolidation and migration programmes and or projects;

*Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical; making complex concepts accessible to all;

*Extensive knowledge in application and software development lifecycle;

*Experience of designing interfaces between multiple applications, databases, and middleware systems;

*Experience of DevOps technologies and processes;

*Experience in designing and delivering applications into cloud environments

SC enhanced clearance will be required in order to start in this position
