The UK’s leading utility Data Services business differentiated by the scale and capability of its multiskilled 3,200 strong national workforce is looking for a Graduate Test Analyst in Newcastle.You will provide a well-thought-out, high quality, end-to-end software testing service, working with internal/external customers and project managers. You will be tasked with seeing that processes, standards and ISO procedures are followed and based upon suitable industry methodologies.As a Graduate Test Analyst, your duties will include:Creating scripts and amending environments.Upholding your engagement with the ‘change management’ process.Working closely alongside other members of the team to support changes through from end to end.Trying to resolve problem requests as and when they arise within a tight timescale.Producing regular reports and defect summaries to allow accurate monitoring and to ensure potential problem areas which may require further attention can be identified. To be a successful Graduate Analyst, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Previous experience in web testing.Strong SQL skills.An ISEB/ISTQB qualification or equivalent is beneficial but is not essential.Experience with android device testing is beneficial but is not essential.Experience with Oracle is beneficial but is not essential.Experience in the Utility industry is beneficial but is not essential.
