Front End Developer - Leeds City Centre / Remote days / Modern Office Space / Team Away Days / £30,000 - £40,000 I am looking to hire a permanent Front End Developer's to join my Leeds based client in helping them merge together the science of user interaction and creative flair. They have been around for nearly 20 years so trust me - they know what they are doing and have all bases covered. To be the next Front End Developer here you will need a strong ability to write clean, well-structured, reusable code because you are going to be working on award-winning projects for some of the UK's largest companies. But do not fear, you are not alone! The existing front-end, back-end and creative teams are at hand and here to get stuck in. They are a friendly bunch who have a team player attitude at the forefront of everything they do. Aside from the expected hands on development side of this job there is ample opportunity to focus on your own development. From training budgets to dedicated R&D time they understand the importance of this and have the capacity to integrate this into your day to day. What do I need to see?Proven commercial experience of using JavaScript, CSS & HTML on a day to day basis for a minimum of 3 yearsWorkflow tools such as Gulp/Grunt or WebpackGit for source control managementResponsive design skillsNaturally a unique eye for design and detail goes without sayingSupport in design briefs, providing input into what is possible in the product build.Providing estimates to costing/timing of new workFuture focused attitude sharing ideas and best practice across the team at all time.Experience working within CMSs such as Drupal, WordPress or similarFully competent in working with designs of which are created in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch What's on offer to you?
