We are searching for an experienced Data Analyst for an exciting technology driven and product-based business located in Devon.The successful candidate is going to be responsible for the delivery of actionable insights through detailed analysis of data which is collected through multiple software solutions.The role will work collaboratively across external and internal functions to identify and refine data requirements, plan and execute analysis and support the understanding of the results.You will be reporting to key stakeholders, to ensure the products developed maintain and strengthen their current market position - good communication skills are required.Duties/Expectations

Work with internal and external customers to comprehensively capture and document data analysis requirements.Define appropriate methodologies and models to extract and analyse the data required, providing critical appraisal of potential data quality or anomalies that could skew or influence the business insights that are generated from the analysis of data.Perform data analysis to meet agreed objectives, providing data reports and summarising results and meanings to stakeholders in a clear, unambiguous and easy to digest manner.Develop and maintain systems to track, report and build on data requests as they are submitted, working closely with the Product Architects to inform solution road-maps.Provide Product, Sales, Marketing and Account Management with the insights, trends and summaries to support press releases and customer engagement initiatives to drive value realisation and retention.Support Product Innovation through proactively seeking and initiating innovative growth opportunities and supporting the evaluation of innovation concepts through data analysis and insights.Improve customer's perception of the value of our solutions and services through the timely delivery of data and reports to support case resolution.Essential ExperienceExperience of data analysis, modelling and interpretation in a business analysis or data analytics roleExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as methodical approach and attention to detailMathematically minded and experience of computing languages such as SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and ExcelDesirable Experience (Non-Essential)Experience of programming or statistical languages such as Python and RMachine LearningAlgorithms (Development)Communication SkillsConfident in communicating with people of all levels, both internal and external, both verbally and through written reports.Able to clearly and concisely communicate the feasibility, time-lines, caveats, assumptions, quality elements, results and meanings of data analysis.
