I am currently looking for a Data Analyst Lead for a core pillar analytics function of a global company based in Wiltshire. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is experienced in leading currently or looking to make his or her next step up in a data centric career.

Responsibility for this Lead Data Analyst are;Leadership and development of a small team of data analysts, this can include enriching data, modelling and ingesting. Ensuring the data is ingested in an efficient and well-monitored manner.You will also be shaping the data platform with the help of Data Engineers by modelling, ingesting and enriching data utilising the best in cloud technologies and programming languages.Developing and optimising the data platform to meet data and reporting requirements.Ingesting the new data sources, writing data pipelines and transformation/enrichment utilising the most efficient methods to do so. Also maintaining the existing data pipelines and building automated pipelines, which will include data quality checks and log monitoring.

The skills we are looking for in a new Data Analyst Lead;2 years demonstrable experience working with data lakes / data warehouses with a preference within Google Cloud Platform.Writing in SQL, Python and Spark.Experience with Google Cloud Data Analytics products. For example BigQuery, Data Proc, Data Flow etc..Solution - Specification, Design, Testing and Deployment. With a familiarity with data architecture and principles of design.Team leadership qualities in managing and motivation.And the general competencies of being highly motivated yourself with a drive for success, excellent communication skills with an ability bridge technical issues to non-tech stakeholders and a clear desire to explore new technologies, techniques and methods.
