As part of the Corporate Information Services team, you will be responsible for assisting the ongoing development, implementation and support provision for corporate systems and will work with stakeholders and other members of the team to define, specify, document and aid implementation of changes to systems, new developments and introduction of new corporate systems supported by the team.

You will work on all phases of development and maintenance of new and existing corporate systems and follow approved change control processes to enhance systems, apply fault resolution patches or perform upgrades. This includes working closely with key stakeholders to ensure changes meet agreed requirements and University quality standards.  You will also be expected to participate in the out of hours cover scheme.

You will have a relevant IT-related degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a directly comparable role, along with demonstrable experience of systems design, development, implementation and management and of administering and maintaining Linux based servers, services and applications.  Experience of installing, configuring, and maintaining Apache and/or Tomcat is also essential.
