Are you a skilled 2nd Line Network Engineer looking to join a forward thinking MSP in the beautiful city of Bristol? I am currently on the lookout for a 2nd Line Network Engineer with a particular focus on Broadband technologies where you will be delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring operational and service excellence is consistently delivered and maintained at ALL times. As the 2nd Line Network Engineer you will be responsible for the timely completion of escalated tickets from the 1st Line team whilst also investigating 2nd Line calls to identify root causes of the varying incidents and problems. Skills wise you will have knowledge in the following areas;Strong communication both verbal and written - ability to translate tech talk to non tech peopleFast paced with the ability to work changing priorities under pressureStrong attention to detailStrong customer service and people skills showing empathy in customer situationsStrong exposure to ADSL, FTTC, FTTP, networking, VOIP and associated broadband technologies (TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP)Knowledge of multiple operating systems, preferably Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS This is a great chance to join a market leading MSP with a supportive working environment where you will have the chance to grow and develop.
