Lead Developer (Java UNIX Algorithms Distributed Systems Cloud AWS Kubernetes). Rapidly expanding software house is seeking an experienced Lead Developer to join an incredibly talented team of engineers who implement and deploy a variety of algorithms (from information theory, classical AI, statistical ML, graph theory, Deep learning and more). You'll play a key role in making architectural decisions whilst also taking on leadership responsibilities; mentoring and coaching your team, creating an atmosphere of continuous improvement and planning and supporting career development.

Based in South West London / Surrey, you'll be working in cool riverside, open planned offices. The closest train station is a 10 minute walk away and there are secure bike racks available and showers on-site.

Requirements:

Advanced software development skills

Expert Java knowledge in a UNIX environment

Previous leadership / mentoring experience

Degree educated in Computer Science or similar with strong mathematical abilities

Experience implementing algorithms within a distributed fashion in a Cloud native environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: AI and Machine Learning
