For a big client of us in the telecommunications, we're looking for a Release/delivery manager.Medior: Operational role; Specific skillset or training; Standard educational credentials required; Prior experience in this role (2-5 years)Summary: Responsible for successfully shaping an agreed portfolio of program and projects.Education/Experience: Knowledge and experience of program/project planning processes, techniques, and methodology; experience with portfolio/project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environmentSkills and Competencies: Relationship & stakeholder mgmt.; interpersonal skills; self-drive; strong communication & presentation skills; delivery mgmt.; organizational, planning & scheduling skills; risk mgmt.Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and review programs and projects to ensure delivery to the agreed standards of quality, cost, risk and time.Engage and manage relevant stakeholders, helping to resolve issues and understanding drivers/needs.Proactively recommend remedial action to bring the portfolio/project/program back in line.Drive governance across the department ensuring projects adhere to the framework and governance gateways.Identify resource gaps and ensure actions are taken to resolve themAnalyze all information on the program/portfolio and be able to identify key and future issueDrive strong financial analysis.Ensure key project documentation is in place.Drive simple reporting of complex financials across the department, drive quality of information and reporting.Manage and operationally improve departmental infrastructure driving efficiencies.Senior Manager Release ManagementMichael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
