Network Architect - 6 months - Swindon

My client is need of an experienced Network Architect who has strong experience in Checkpoint and Juniper.

Key Experience Required:

Checkpoint

- Configuring and troubleshooting, Policy and NAT

- Checkpoint smart console experience above R80

- VPN experience

- OSPF and EBGP

Juniper QFX

- Familiar with junos, OSPF, VRRP, LACP and VLANS

Citrix

- Load balancing and Web proxy

General:

- Understating for routing protocols in particular EBGP and OSFP

- Networking protocols and technologies to include routing, switching and firewall/security mechanisms

- Ability to install, configure, maintain and support routing and switching technologies

- Ability to install, configure, maintain and support firewall technologies

- Ability to install, configure, maintain and support VPN technologies

- Specific knowledge of Juniper Network Routers and switches

- Network operating systems to include JUNOS, Cisco IOS, LINUX

- Network WAN technologies (MPLS, BGP, ADSL etc)

- Wireless Solutions (Aruba or other market leader)

- Network monitoring and management technologies (Solarwinds. JUNOS Space, etc)

- Understanding of how peripheral devices interact with PC/laptops and common problems etc

- Ability to produce detailed technical designs for specific solutions and contribute to the establishment of wider ICT infrastructure designs and strategic direction
