Java Developer London to £80k

Java Developer / Java Software Engineer (Oracle Java Web). Hugely successful and growing commodities trading firm is seeking a technologist Java Developer. Joining an Agile development team that cares about code quality you will design and develop highly complex web based trading platforms; implementing new features and getting them into production quickly. You'll make improvements to the trading robots and build back office tools to aid the operation of exchanges and make changes to the underlying accounting systems.

The technology stack includes Java 8, Scala, Spring, Tomcat, Oracle and Linux. You'll be using the latest technologies and choosing the best tool for the job in a technology driven environment.

Offices based in West London with a friendly and informal "start-up atmosphere".

Requirements for Java Developer:

Strong core Java development experience

Database experience (Oracle preferred)

Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Excellent communication skills

Degree educated
