They are putting together a new 'Innovation Lab' made up of forward thinking software professionals who will be responsible for delivering high quality software applications for a particular niche within the mobile space.For this particular role they are looking for someone to take charge of the entire API Design phase. You will be required to produce design and technical implementation documents for innovative applications that will ultimately change the way the mobile industry operates.The company and this team have huge plans for growth over the coming years and as such will be able to offer excellent career progression and development opportunities to anyone to join at this stage. Skills/ Requirements for the role:- Energetic individual with a creative and ambitious mindset- Strong Software Engineering background, ideally with a variety of programming languages- Demonstrable Experience in a technical role that has some involvement with designing and implementing APIs (REST, JSON)- Ideally will have experience in a consultancy environment- Confident and clear communicator Training will be provided for a large portion of this role, the company in question is putting a huge emphasis on the personality traits of the applicants due to the dynamic and creative nature of the team.For this role the client is looking to compensate the ideal API Designer with a salary between £65,000 - £75,000 + benefits and very real scope for career progression over the coming years. They are based in Central London so are easily commutable from Greater London, Surrey, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex and Kent.
