Lead Java DeveloperA growing start-up operating in the predictive analytics sector. A true market disruptor, whos products are revolutionising the predictive analytics market, so says the awards earned so far!

Their customers are the biggest players in the market across several industries like oil and gas, automotive, and e-commerce. The vision is simple: predictive analytics accessible to everyone.

The team are researching, developing and enhancing new and existing algorithms for processing Big Data. Most of the work you would do is back end work, but they do have front end APIs to allow access / monitoring of the analytics

You will be working at the London office, liaising with a fun and relaxed team.Your responsibilities will be across the complete Software Development Lifecycle in both short and long-term green field projects. A small amount of customer support may be involved in the future. Furthermore, you can/will be involved in management responsibilities, from recruitment to talent management, employee relations and project management. They will assist you in whatever way they can, but are more than willing to give you as much autonomy as you desire.Ideally, they are looking for candidates with a keen interest in computing looking to learn and improve their knowledge and who is not afraid to try new things. A lot of what they build has never been done before after all!They work mainly with Java, Python and Scala, but often end up working different languages, depending on project and client. The tools they try to incorporate the bleeding edge of technology into new analytical solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to show what you've got and push your skillsets to that of a leader. Please note that this role can progress to Head of a team in the future.
