Software Developer, London, £42KOur client is a world leading in their rapidly expanding market. They currently has an opportunity for a Software Developer to join the team in NW London. Objectives
Identify, build and implement enhancements to company software applications and toolsMaintenance of existing bespoke and customised software applications and tools Main duties
Internal owner of NetSuite customisations, Power platform bespoke apps and VBA solutions (eg: procurement planning schedules, project order book, monthly sales and commercial reporting suite)Develop sales, marketing and operational software applications and custom tools to improve business efficiency and automationMaintain a case log of requests from wider business categorised into failures, general usage support, new developmentsRespond to and fix failures and provide general usage supportMaintain and communicate user documentation for current and in development software solutions and tools We will need you to work 40 hours, Monday to Friday within our core hours. (Our core hours are 7.30am - 6pm). However, you will need to be flexible and willing to work outside of the core hours when needed and/or to assist our overseas offices.
The person
The successful candidate will have a degree or similar in the fields of computer science, information technology or engineering and 1 to 3 years work experience. You should be able to demonstrate project experience in a commercial environment delivering software solutions. You will need good knowledge of Javascript, VBA, C#, SQL, HTML5, XML languages. Be familiar with Agile/Scrum, OOP methodologies and use of Azure MySQL and Visio.
Experience in areas such as online ordering, quote automation, web development using .NET framework are also needed.
This role needs someone with excellent problem solving and communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to establish relationships with people at all levels of the business.
