An excellent opportunity has arisen in central Birmingham for a dynamic & proactive Data Technical Architect to create Logical and Physical Data Models along with Integration Designs to support a large transformation project.The main purpose of the role is to understand business requirements and produce technical solution designs, create Logical and Physical Data Models along with Integration designs. Evaluate technology solution options, recommend and create robust design documents. Work with other architects, developers, business analysts and stakeholder to ensure that the information needs of the SRA are understood, well documented and are aligned with our corporate strategy.The successful candidate will also need to create/modify existing databases. You will work alongside other Data Architects who have already translated the business requirements to high-level data flow and entity impacts. Other artefacts include creating data landscapes, interface landscapes and conceptual data models.We are looking for candidates with the below experience/ skills:EssentialData Analysis - The investigation, evaluation and interpretation of the data in order to ensure its coherence, availability, accuracy and security according to the solution requirementsData and Integration ArchitectureCanonical ModellingDatabase Creation/ModificationCDM, LDM, PDM (Entity and Attribute definitions)Data Impact Analysis including IntegrationEntity/Application/Process MappingGood working experience in Dynamic 365/FO 365/Office 365/ Data designs/Azure stack, Sql ServerExperience of working in an iterative development process such as AgileGood knowledge of design patterns and how to apply themAble to work with external suppliers and liaise with their technical teamsExcellent communication skills - able to effectively translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.DesirableWeb Service, API IntegrationPreferably from a development backgroundProfessional certifications for relevant technologiesAzure DevOps - DevOps, CI / CD Pipelines, TerraformAzure development - Logic Apps, App Service, Functions etcOur client is flexible and welcomes Senior Data Analysts/Engineers/Specialists with experience designing and implementing data solutions, looking to move up the ladder.This is a superb opportunity to join a well-respected regulatory company located in the centre of Birmingham, within walking distance of main transport links, offering an excellent benefit package and a friendly & flexible working environment where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and develop your career.Want to know more?
