Senior Azure Engineer An excellent opportunity has arisen in central Birmingham for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Ms Azure) to join a fantastic team currently supporting multiple IT Transformation initiatives.This is hands on technical role that takes the lead on designing, building, implementing, deploying and supporting on-premise, and cloud hosted applications infrastructure across the business.We're looking for candidates with the below skills/knowledge/experience:ITIL foundation qualificationAbility to cross skill and troubleshoot network related issues including routing, switching, firewall and load balancer configurationStrong experience of public cloud such as Microsoft Azure services and APIsStrong experience of virtualised platforms, storage area networks and physical serversStrong experience of Microsoft Office365 setup, administration and managementStrong experience of Windows Server (including IIS)Strong experience in IaaS, PaaS, SaaSStrong experience of designing and implementing Microsoft System Centre and application packaging and deploymentStrong experience of designing and implementing Active Directory and GPO configuration and maintenanceExperience of Virus/Malware removalExperience in designing and implementing back-up policies and routinesExperience of designing Remote Desktop solutionsExperience in managing and deploying Office 365, exchange online and Hybrid exchangeExperience in configuring and deploying Anti-virus and device encryption to end devicesExperience in configuring and administering policies through Group PolicyExperience of Mobile Device Management solutionsExperience in managing and configuring hyper converged networksCertification or extensive experience in configuring, deploying and managing Hyper-VMCSA in Windows 2016Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCollaborative and results oriented approach towards issue resolution with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships at all levelsDesirable:Expertise in SCCM, including tuning of platforms, application deployment and managementWorking knowledge of MS SharepointWorking knowledge of MS SQL configuration and maintenanceExpertise in Unified communicationsExperience of PowerShell,Experience of Azure networking, VNETs, DNS, DHCP, WAF and firewall configuration and maintenanceExperience of Telephony systemsThe ability to up skill, coach and mentor junior team members to ensure that they are motivated and engaged This is a superb opportunity to join a well-respected regulatory company located in the centre of Birmingham, within walking distance of main transport links, offering an excellent benefit package and a friendly & flexible working environment where you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your capabilities and develop your skills & career.Want to know more?
