IT at UEA is changing and as Enterprise Architect you will be the forefront of creating a new capability for the University that will have a strategic and enduring impact. 

Duties will include shaping the strategic direction for the technology estate; engaging closely with stakeholders outside IT and engaging with business architecture to ensure the join-up of strategic direction; creating road-maps based on the target architecture; defining and leading governance over the technology estate to ensure adherence to defined targets; ensuring solutions are secure by design and by default; and seeking out new technology trends and solutions and applying this knowledge to shaping future technology road-maps.

You will have an IT related degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a directly comparable role, along with significant experience of working at a senior level as an Enterprise Architect in a large complex organisation. You should also have experience of working across a broad range of technologies, with good understanding of all aspects of IT (e.g. applications, data, network/infrastructure, security).  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation and conflict management are also essential.
