ICT Service Desk Analyst - Graduates Welcome 
Widnes, Cheshire  
Up to £30,000 per annum Plus Pension, Free Parking, 33 Days' Holiday 

Our client is an innovative, global logistics business with operational centres in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia.   

Focusing on the chemical, gas, fuel and foodstuff sectors, our client boasts two operating divisions and offers a complete range of tanker and support services to provide best value for money and outstanding solutions to their customer base.   

They're now looking for a number of ICT Service Desk Analysts with varying levels of experience to join their team.  

As an ICT Service Desk Analyst, you will:  

- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to employees 
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including mobile devices, laptops, desktops and printers 
- Follow up the status of problems on behalf of users 
- Liaise with external support providers to resolve issues  
- Mentor junior members of the team (if experienced) 
- Provide out of hours support on a rota basis  

Interested?  

To join our client as an ICT Service Desk Analyst, you will need the following, gained through your studies, a commercial environment or similar: 

- Active Directory administration experience 
- Citrix virtual desktop administration experience 
- Knowledge of Microsoft client operating systems and applications 
- An understanding of LAN and WAN network topologies 

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of two years' IT support experience, but this isn't essential. Experience of working in a multi-national, transport or logistics organisation would also be an advantage, as would an ITIL or vendor qualification. 

Other companies may call this role IT Support Technician, Technical Support Advisor, 1st Line Support Technician, 2nd Line Support Analyst, Helpdesk Support Analyst, Graduate IT Support Technician, Service Desk Engineer, IT Service Desk Technician or Technical Support Engineer.
