Project Actuary (Retail Life Insurance) - Contract - North SydneyProgressive Recruitment is working with one of our key clients and resourcing for a Project Actuary with a minimum of 2 years experience in Retail Life Insurance. Our Client is one of Australia's leading life insurance providers, covering over 1.5 million Australians for more than 130 years and over 1600 employees nationwide. You will be based out of their North Sydney office.The role of the Project Actuary is to provide independent assurance within the Project testing team that supports the migration to a new Policy Admin System. This involves acting as the Actuarial SME and conduit between the actuarial development team and testing team to understand and review complex calculations being delivered, and identify any defects and potential issues that differ from the relevant requirements.

Must haves:Qualified Actuary (or close to qualification)Minimum two years experience in Retail Life InsuranceTechnical problem solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsProject / Consulting experienceSystem / Data/ Model testing - DesirableStrong Excel and macro / VBA skillsWilling to work in Project team.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, please apply now.
