The CRM Support Analyst is responsible for the delivery of support (issues/bugs, break/fix problems, service requests, small system changes and ad-hoc queries) in accordance with agreed service levels, standards and processes working remotely and locally with business users and external clients.

Responsibilities:

+ Prioritises and manages own workload
+ Works on issues based on the priority and where applicable under the direction of the line manager
+ Manages and interrogates SQL Databases using SQL commands
+ Ensures that jobs are captured within the internal ticketing system, updated and closed as appropriate
+ Completes the daily jobs and checks as per the schedule
+ Works with other IT Support staff effectively to ensure that excellent end-to-end IT support services are provided
+ Provides constructive feedback to improve the performance of the support team
+ Develops and maintains strong working relationships with key staff and managers and in other teams within IT
+ Identify where knowledge can be shared with other IT staff to improve the effectiveness of IT and help develop the knowledge and skills of others in the IT Support team
+ Ensures that assigned IT service incidents are managed effectively and root cause problem analysis is undertaken where appropriate to reduce the number and severity of future operational incidents
+ Creating documentation of technical systems and IT procedures, assisting with delivery of systems training for our clients and colleagues
+ As part of the IT team, supporting and providing proactive and friendly customer support both remotely and face to face

Essential Skills / Experiences:

+ Educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience with a suitable qualification in an IT related field
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Experience of large database systems
+ Comprehensive understanding of SQL server databases, table and field structures
+ Understanding C# Programming Language
+ Able to create SQL views from databases
+ Detailed technical skills and abilities in MS Applications
+ Ability to work closely with and delivering excellent face-to-face customer service to non-expert IT users
+ An agile mind set, IT for our clients is ever changing and you will need to help deliver this

Desirable Skills / Experiences:

+ Experience SQL, C# and other programming languages
+ Knowledge of the Publishing sector
+ Evidence of continuing professional development
+ Technical knowledge of server operating systems
+ Knowledge and understanding of GDPR, Cyber security & PCI
