Application Support EngineerGlasgow City Centre£35-38,000 I'm working with a Microsoft focused Consultancy based in Glasgow who are looking to build upon a fantastic few years of success and expand their Application Support team.

They've been involved in the Microsoft space for well over 30 years, and have established themselves as a key player in SharePoint, Office 365, .NET and Azure technologies across Glasgow, the Central Belt and the wider UK.Sitting within the Product Development and Support function, you will play an integral part of making the life of your customer seamless and as pain free as possible.

Your day to day life is virtually impossible to define as you'll be reacting to incoming issues, dealing with Application problems as they arise, or tackling large-scale problems within the code-base of the Product itself.A brief look at the role in more detail will include;Providing 2nd/3rd Line Support to critical business systems & bespoke applicationsInvestigate code issues, debug and implement fixes for these bugsCommunicate with clients and customers via Email, Phone and Service Desk tools. Technical Skills and experience;C# (incl. ASP.NET)SQLSharePointAzure DevOps (IaaS &/OR PaaS - Azure Resource Manager)PowerBI is nice, but not essential. If you feel you have the experience to support a bespoke application, maybe you're already supporting a large scale product base (00s - 000s users) and feel that working with a leading Partner or Consultancy will do wonders for your career - but maybe lacking one/two of the skills required, don't worry - full training will be given to you from Day dot.
