In terms of your tech skills and experience, you will need:
Proven track record of Java development (ideally JDK 8 +)
Strong skills in J2EE
At least one JavaScript backend technology (Node.ls or React.js or Angular)
Strong software design skills including OO
Git
Good experience of Agile
Essentially, strong Java knowledge and varied technical experience is key. Any exposure to cloud solutions, microservices and/or big data technologies would also be advantageous but not essential.
As well as strong tech skills, good communication skills are needed and a willingness to be client facing when required. Due to the nature of some of the clients, you must also be willing and able to go through a security clearance process (to qualify you must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years)
Based out of London, this role requires the flexibility to travel and work on client site (expenses fully covered).
