*This is a permanent position* A leading manufacturer are recruiting for a manufacturing engineer to join their team in the Gloucestershire. Do you have experience in implementing the principles of lean manufacturing and driving production optimisation? If so, then you may be the engineer we're looking for. You'll be responsible for the implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project based activities, including new product introduction and operational designs to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. To be successful in securing an interview the following skills are required;Manufacturing/ Production engineering background Lean/ process improvement is crucial - 5s, Kanban, kaizen, SMED, six sigma and any other world class manufacturing principlesExperience of working in a medium-fast paced production environment would be advantageous.You'll be working for an established engineering company in Gloucestershire.
