Role: Operations Assistant GraduateLocation: Aberdeen/MontroseDuration: 3 Month initial contractRate: £10/hour Role Summary/Purpose: You will be responsible for supporting the Global SubSea Operations Team, working with vital transactional data to define and deliver process improvements for our customers and our internal teams. You will learn how SubSea operations are planned, resourced and delivered and will contribute to improving our process and delivering outstanding services for our customers.We are looking for someone with a keen interest in business administration, process optimisation, Global Visa & Travel Support, digital platform support and a willingness to be part of the heart of the business and learn fast.If this sounds like you then send in an application! Essential Responsibilities:Work closely with the Global Team and Field Service teams to identify and define process improvements to better deliver for our customers.Work with day to day data transactional data using Oracle, SharePoint, BOX, GRID, Mobilisation Tools and other systems to provide key information for project revenue delivery. Training will be provided on all the proprietary systemsVisualise operational data and drive actions to improve Key Performance Indicators (e.g. Overdue Orders) using dashboards & Power BI etc.Support cross-functional business units including Operations, eSales, Finance, Training, Workshop personnel etcUnderstand business processes, issues and concerns and translate into solutionsContract reviews and analysis Qualifications/Requirements:University Degree or working towards itInterest in Operations ManagementWork independently to a high standardAnalytical, project management and tracking skillsExcellent communications, interpersonal and influencing skillsExperience in MS Office e.g. Excel (Formulas, pivot tables etc.) Desired Characteristics if possible:Previous work experience in a multi-discipline, cross-functional environment, Matrix organization (Product; region; functions)Knowledge/interest in ERP/MRP systems (especially Oracle & ServiceMax)Knowledge/Interest in Forecasting and Demand planningKnowledge/interest in Oil & Gas or other industrial sectorsKnowledge/Interest in Contract Reviews, Analysis and ManagementKnowledge/Interest in our Global Visa and movement of personnel processes
