For one of our clients in the financial sector, we are looking for an AS400 / IBM I Specialist. Location: ZurichDuration: 12-24 months IBMi, iSeries, AS/400 System Specialist minimum 5 years in a Banking/Financial environmentthis is not a development rolethis is System Specialist/Engineering rolecollaborative worker who is also capable of working on projects on his/her own initiative100% based in customer location in Zurichon call support / evening / weekend workstrong written and spoken English Hands on experience with: user support across multiple countries/time zonesmonitoring day to day activities, backups, interfaces, reporting feedsoperating system installs & upgradesmaintaining & applying PTFsuse of SST & DST to perform system maintenance tasks such as disk add/replacementsproviding operational support, problem determination, escalation and managementticket handling, change management, backup scheduling and management of multiple BRMS networks, Control Mbackup and recovery of whole systemscapacity managementwork managementhardware configuration, new systems and upgradesIBMi SAN storage experience If you are interested in this project please contact me with your current CV and we can talk in detail about this position.Sthree Switzerland is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
