My London based client one of the world's leading financial groups is looking for an exp4erinced Test Analyst to join them on an initial 6-month contract.The successful Test Analyst will be supporting testing activities for projects within the front office division, and be responsible for delivering project testing of the highest quality on time and on budget.As Test Analyst you will be planning, executing and reporting on testing activities, following the test plan, designing and executing test cases as per the test schedule.This role will cover both scripted and exploratory testing ensuring documentation is kept up to date.
Supporting business users with UAT testing.Functional / Technical Competencies: '€¢Good Understanding of ETL process'€¢Working knowledge of ORACLE and MS SQL databases Work Experience: '€¢5+ years' experience working as a Test Analyst/Test Consultant in an IT division.'€¢Banking or Financial Services sector experience(essential)'€¢Strong experience in ETL testing (essential)'€¢Good knowledge of SQL queries (essential)'€¢Experience in application testing (essential)'€¢Experience in web services testing (beneficial)'€¢Experience working in an agile environment (essential)'€¢Stakeholder management experience (beneficial) Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
