Through continued growth they are looking for a skilled Project Engineer with Design Quality & Automotive experience to join their team.In this role you will support the R&D team to quickly resolve and prevent reoccurrence of quality concerns, while working in collaboration with factory and service colleagues to improve customer satisfaction and reflect know-how back to assist in future products.The idea candidate will be an engineer with experience of design, quality and projects in an automotive environment. Knowledge of body, exterior or interior components and systems is highly advantageous.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company that is offering a role with plenty of progression and a great benefits package.The Person:

*Degree educated in automotive engineering or mechanical engineering

*Automotive experience

*Knowledge of Body, Exterior or Interior components & systems

*Project management skillsThe Role:

*Managing quality concerns related to design and specification

*Managing projects with multi-functional teams (factory, service, purchasing & design)

*Carry out complex technical investigations and deploy countermeasure actions that reduce warranty cost and improve customer satisfaction:

- lead body / exterior / interior category

- travel to incident vehicles, operational environment and actual customer concerns

- Take hands on approach to locally re producing concerns and analysing defective parts

- To take investigation beyond the existing company available information

*Reporting problem status and future activities to top management internally and externally

*The role may require some international travel to attend quality issues and attend communication meetings

*Minimum basic hours must be worked each day:

- 8hr 10min Monday to Thursday

- 4h 20min on Friday

*Flex start times are between

-07:00 and 9:00 Monday - Friday

*Finish times are between:

- 15:40 and 17:40 Monday - Thursday
