SCCM and MDT expert sought to join an internationally renowned Hedge Fund business in an SCCM Architect and hands-on Desktop Engineering capacity.Our client is one of the best known Hedge Funds in London with a 10+ year track-record and £5BN+ in Assets under Management. This is a key hire for the business with numerous high-profile projects including a Windows 10 upgrade and rollout. It is expected that SCCM and MDT will form 70% of the role and therefore the hire will also be involved in traditional Trade Floor / Desktop engineering as part of a dedicated team. This will include Active Directory and Group Policies along with the support of Office 365, Windows 10, Market Data, PCs, Laptops and Mobile Devices. PowerShell automation experience is highly-desirable however the client is also willing to facilitate courses and training in order to become fully proficient, as this will form a key part of the role. Requirements5+ years' experience of SCCM and MDT to include:SCCM Applications and PackagesBuilding MDT from scratchImage creation and build creation from the ground-upOSD designTask-sequencingMonitoringExit CodesIdeally 5+ years in a Finance or Trading environment with exposure to Market Data platforms such as Bloomberg and Reuters.Experience of face-to-face VIP support with excellent communication skills.Active directory administration including GPO.Experience in supporting Office 2016 / Office 365, Windows 10, PCs, Laptops and Mobile Devices.PowerShell automation preferred although courses and training can be provided if required.
