A worldwide supplier and manufacturer of engineered products have a new vacancy for a Maintenance Electrician to join its team in Livingston, on a permanent basis. This is a stable role as the company have a very secure order book. As a Maintenance Electrician (Manufacturing), your responsibilities will include:Working as part of the team performing duties in a heavy engineering environment. Performing electrical installations and PAT testing.Actioning planned schedules with a view to maximising manufacturing up time.Dealing with manufacturing breakdowns of plant systems with a view to minimising downtime.Working Monday to Friday on a 3-shift rotational basis of days, backs, and nights. (6-2,2-10 and 10-6). To be a successful Maintenance Electrician, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Experience in a similar Manufacturing/Maintenance Electrician role with relevant qualificationsExperience in the breakdown and preventative maintenance activities within manufacturing /mid to heavy engineering environments.The ability to read electrical schematic drawings and fault find on equipment.The ability to work at heights and enclosed spaces with good communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of hydraulics, machine tools, and mid voltage distribution systems is beneficial but is not essential. In return, you will receive a starting remuneration that equates to £32,341.71 per annum which will rise to £33,009.74 following a successful probation period.
