I've currently got an opportunity for an 3rd Line Support Engineer to join a MSP in the Peterborough area. You will report directly to the Operations director and be a crucial member of the team in resolving escalated client issues. You will have the ability to work independently on problems; or come together as a collective with the rest of the support team to ensure timely and positive solutions are provided.Key Tasks:

Be a technical escalation point for 1st and 2nd line teams.'€¢

Provide excellent customer service through all channels (Email, telephone and face to face)'€¢

Using the Support Management System, keep an accurate log of issues and action take.'€¢

Liaise with 3rd party suppliers of services or staff effectively.'€¢

Consult the Technical Director on ways to improve customer systems when encountered with recurring issues.'€¢

Learn customer systems and infrastructures so you can confidently handle issues.

Key Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.'€¢

Advanced knowledge of windows server and virtualisation technologies.'€¢

Advanced network knowledge (LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, DHCP, DNS)'€¢

Advanced knowledge of backups.'€¢

Knowledge of Printers and other hardware.'€¢

Advanced knowledge of mobile devices, including MDM systems.'€¢

Advanced knowledge of VoIP, ideally 3CX.'€¢

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange.
