About The Role

We are looking for a technical expert, who can undertake a 'hands on' lead  role and help define and implement our next generation strategy for Software Delivery & Environment Management  incorporating the latest DevOps and Agile practices.

As  part of The Coventry's Digital Transformation programme,  drive the move towards Continuous Integration and Continuous  Delivery; selecting and using leading tools on cloud based platforms such as AWS and define what DevOps  looks like within CBS.

Enable transparent deployment of mission critical software whilst ensuring risks are managed and we are in compliance with our regulatory authorities.

About You

Essential Skills:

A proven CI/CD and Agile background with a solid understanding and experience of the Software Development Lifecycle, testing methodologies and techniques.

Strong hands on technical skills enabling you to design delivery pipelines and support other teams along the transformation journey.

Proven experience in software delivery toolsets

Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code using the AWS platform.

Proven experience in managing and delivering into Unix and Windows based environments.
