IT Project Manager

Abingdon, Oxfordshire

£45k - £60k DOE + bonus + benefit

Our client is the UK leader and emerging global force in the delivery of a number of different technological services to the education sector not only throughout the UK, but globally. We have been asked to assist in the recruitment of an IT Project Manager to join and take ownership of internal IT projects implemented across the whole company.

The IT Project Manager holder will have a software focused background and take on the management of numerous internal IT projects. The primary project will involve Project Management of the IT components for the client's change initiative programme to replace its legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP / CRM.

Key Skills / Environment

-ERP / Enterprise Resource Planning

-CRM / Customer Relationship Management s/w

-Microsoft Dynamics 365

-Software Application experience

-IT infrastructure projects.

-Stakeholder liaison and management included 3rd parties.

-The ability to influence internal stakeholders of all levels, using flexibility of approach

-Experience working with medium sized technical project teams e.g. technical architects

-A proven track record of building a stakeholder network across a business by spending time in different offices.

-Knowledge and experience of working in the full Project Delivery Life Cycle

-Experience in quality management/control

-The ability to execute high quality governance programmes

-Exceptional financial management and control skills and experience.

-PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification

-Expert user of MS Project and MS Excel

-Diligence to ensure appropriate audit and compliance activities are in place i.e. ISO (Desirable)
