Spring technology are currently working in partnership with an award winning retail / commercial bank based in Manchester in recruiting for a number of java developers covering all levels of experience. The bank has customer service at its core and is seeking an enthusiastic individual that believes this philosophy and strives to achieve great things

£55k - £60k - Senior Java Developer

Mid level / Junior Developer salary will be dependant on experience

As a java developer you will be building the digital technologies to aid the bank in achieving their primary objective of doing the right thing for their customers

You would be working in a fast paced development environment using the latest java technologies within an agile team. You will be at the forefront of latest developments within the banking sector and how that can be implemented within the company such as open banking

Key Responsibilities

*Lead the development of client side code for the public facing channels

*Developing new features and launching new platforms

*Liaising with the digital team across the bank ensuring the development environment is continually striving to achieve more

*Deliver high quality code and be a subject matter expert

*Collaborating on the design and UX to deliver visually stunning results

You will need

*Extensive Java web application development

*Strong object oriented programming knowledge

*Strong knowledge of good design patterns

*Proven track record of software delivery
