Software Tester / QA Test Engineer (Java Git Selenium jMeter JIRA). Do you have a love of sports? Want to work on a revolutionary new sports streaming / data platform to rival the likes of Sky and BT Sport within a collaborative, technology driven environment?
Start-up sports data technology division within a global media giant is seeking a passionate technologist. As part of an elite development team you will be responsible for automated testing of their highly complex sports data and live video streaming platform.
Most of the work is Greenfield development; as a Software Tester you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality; working on complex and interesting technical projects, delivering live data with extremely low latency through to a global client base including betting companies and major broadcasters worldwide.
The technology stack is based on Scala, Java 8, Kafka and AWS. You'll be working in a collaborative, technology driven environment and will gain exposure to test automation tools / techniques. New offices based in West London with a bright and spacious working environment and outside space used for meetings / breakouts.
Requirements:
Strong automated testing experience with a good knowledge of tools including Git, Selenium, Charles Proxy, jMeter - experience of writing tests in Java
Experience of testing large responsive web applications
Good understanding of exploratory testing
Experience with defect and issue tracking management tools such as JIRA and Github Issues
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable: scripting (any language), BrowserStack, Saucelabs
