Installation Design Authority (SC)

My client urgently requires an Installation Design Authority (IDA) to work on a customer project remotely. Although work is done remotely you will be expected to travel to customer sites in the UK and Overseas.

The role of the IDA is to provide design and implementation assurance for all active and passive network components delivered.

Qualifications / Experience

The following are required:

1.Mandatory

I.Have passed the MOD SCIDA course

II.A suitable employment history in a relevant network design and installation discipline

III.A demonstrable knowledge of network testing procedures

IV.A demonstrable knowledge of security and installation standards

2.Desirable

I.ITIL® qualified

II.PRINCE2® qualified or Project Management experience within a Prince environment

III.BICSI RCDD® (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)

IV.CDCDP® (Certified Data Centre Design Professional)

V.CNIDP® (Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional)

VI.Previous IDA experience and/or exposure in a suitable role equivalent i.e. SCIDA, Passive LAN/Campus Network Design

VII.Microsoft Office skills to include: Visio, Word, Excel & Project

VIII.AutoCAD design experience
