Data Scientist / Data Analytics Developer (Machine Learning Java Python C++ SQL). You could be joining a global financial trading firm. As a Data Scientist you will use visualisation tools to aid key stakeholders to better understand complex analysis; developing advanced multi-channel attribution models to deliver robust data-driven insights on the performance of key projects with a particular focus on marketing.

You'll use Machine Learning techniques to build descriptive and predictive models to understand and predict customer behaviour; build customer segmentation models to deepen understanding of the diverse client base and provide personalised customer experience as well as building Tableau dashboards. Partnering with other Data Scientists you'll help to expand the adoption of Machine Learning across the business.

You'll based in open plan City based offices with a range of facilities and break out areas including pool table, ping pong table and roof terrace as well as quiet areas. There's a good work / life balance including flexible working hours and the option to work from home for part of the week.

Requirements:

Experience of analysing large, complex data sets and working with web traffic, user tracking and / or digital marketing data

Experience of building Machine Learning algorithms, models and ideally recommendation systems

OO programming skills with Python and / or Java

Experience of SQL scripting

Good knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, AWS

Familiar with visualisation tools such as Tableau

Educated to MSc/PhD level
